We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful 17th century coaching house. The owner, Roy, was friendly and welcoming, showing us to our fantastic room with charming decor and a comfy bed. The room had lovely views and came with plenty of toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast, cooked to order, was perfect and the hosts were attentive. Carol, in particular, was friendly and great to chat with. We look forward to returning in the future and fully recommend this place for its period charm, character, and fantastic value.

I recently stayed at this charming 17th century coaching house and it was fantastic! The hosts, Roy and Carol, were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was full of character and had amazing views. The bed was really comfy and there were plenty of toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. The location was convenient, right next to the M1, and despite the road noise, it didn't bother us at all. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection and the hosts provided excellent table service. great value for money and I can't wait to come back and explore the area more.

The room was spacious and well furnished. Comfortable bed and good shower. Warm welcome and helpful suggestions from the host. Beautiful old building with lots of character. Great breakfast and friendly hosts. Relatively quiet despite being close to the A1. Lovely parking and reasonable price. Overall a pleasant stay.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming lodge in the outskirts of Grantham. The owner, Roy, was extremely helpful in guiding us to the location when we got lost. The rate was very reasonable and we even had a kitchen in addition to our room. They were also dog-friendly and had a spacious garden for our furry friend to enjoy. The breakfast was outstanding, cooked to perfection. But what really stood out was the friendliness of the owners, they made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Great location close to the A1, perfect for an overnight stop during my business trip. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of options to choose from.
The room was quite noisy due to its proximity to the road, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The room and bathroom were also in need of some updating.

The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the A1 and easy to find. the room was spacious and had plenty of natural light, making it feel open and airy. the breakfast served was delicious, especially the sausages and coffee.
The noise from the nearby A1 kept me awake at night, as the windows didn't block out the sound effectively.

The rooms were generally well furnished, with comfortable beds and enough space. the bathroom was a letdown, with dirty toilets and a shambolic condition. the lack of breakfast was also disappointing, despite being advertised as a bed and breakfast. It would have been nice to have even a simple croissant or Danish pastry offered.

Located right next to a major highway, the lodge is easy to find and has plenty of parking space. the breakfast options are fantastic, with a full English breakfast and continental options available. the lodge is also conveniently situated near several pubs, a Chinese restaurant, and fast food outlets.
The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms left much to be desired.
